The Yaloak South Wind Farm is a 14-turbine, 29MW development site is situated in the Parwan Valley 15km southwest of Bacchus Marsh. Site works commenced early 2017, with the wind farm is expected to be operational in early 2018.
When completed, the development will be one of the closest wind farms to Melbourne, and will be capable of producing enough electricity to power 15,700 homes and abate approximately 70,667 tonnes of greenhouse gas pollution per year.
